Greatest Musical Artists of the '90s

The greatest and most prolific artist of one of music's most treasured decades are remembered on this list. Seeing as I ranked the greatest albums of the decade, I decided to do the same for the artist that made the music come alive. Remember, this list is based solely on the artists' work in the 1990s. Though, there may be better Michael, better Britney, or better U2 in previous or future decades, we will acknowledge each artists for the impact they made in the 90s. From the East coast/West coast wars, to the grunge era, to low-fi garage rock, to the Lilith Fair sound, and the teen pop takeover. All genres are recognized, and classic albums should also play a hand in how people vote.
