My "Magic-Bird Era" Greatest Players
Mr Analytical "Magic-Bird Era" = 1979 to present; and it began (as defined by me) the same year the 3 point line was added; which is the same year Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird joined the NBA.
List Criteria: Although, currently, Kobe and Lebron will be battling for the 2nd best ALL AROUND player title to Michael Jordan; I make my greatest players list according to VALUE in general groups of 5 at a time....So my rating puts Michael Jordan SG first then the top player's by position to build around him, and Kobe or Lebron will make the next list of 5 or 6, and that is how they are rated in this list...Post player's or Point Guards sometimes make my 6th man on this list prior to rating the next best 5 on the list...etc...
