And after seeing a horror movie, all of us have (at least once) been strangely attracted to horrible, horrible beasts of terror. So, in honor of Halloween, here are the 13 hottest actual monsters in horror movie history (plus 2 from comedies), from DREN in Splice to Salma Hayek in from Dusk Til Dawn (video) all the way to the ghost that blows Dan Aykroyd in Ghostbusters. (It should go without saying... this is not a kids Halloween movies list.)

No good girls or protagonists here. Only villains, ranked by hotness with picture/video explanation of who they are and why they're so hot.

Satanico Pandemonium - From Dusk Til Dawn

Who is she?
Satánico Pandemónium in From Dusk till Dawn, aka Salma Hayek in a bikini (who has been on every and any hot girls horror movie list in the history of the world, but for a very good reason, so she's on here) before/after going all Enemy-Mine-Vampires on us.

What is she?
At first a stripper and the star performer at "The T***y Twister," she provides the audience with possibly the sexiest moment in horror movie history in the clip to the left.

Why is she hot?
For one thing, she's a stripper and it's her job to look turned on as much as possible (which is a plus). She has late 90s Salma Hayek's body and dances at a strip club where the band is eventually playing corpse-guitars, so you know she probably listens to metal (which is hot.)

Another thing stripper-looks had going for her was the near-lacking of clothes, as well as the fact that she knows how to get down, despite her lack of a soul... until it goes too far, then she turns into a blood-sucking, murderous demon that kind of looks like a snake/Drac.

Man, if only there were more hot FEMALE vampires, maybe then we could all get along.

Jennifer Check - Jennifer's Body

Who is she?
Technically, Jennifer in Jennifer's Body. But really it's all Megan Fox. And thumbs aside, we all love Megan Fox.

What is she?
A former hot girl who died and then came back as now-undead demonic spirit, who's still really hot. She's kind of a succubus in that she'll, for some reason, bang dudes before she kills them.

Why is she hot?
Besides the fact that it's Megan Fox? She wears scant clothing, she burns the tip of her tongue and acts like nothing happened, she lures boys by looking hot (never mind that she kills them later) and she shares a lesbian make-out with Amanda Seyfriend (which you can see in the video to the left.) Also, she has kind of a trashy, slutty thing going which is great for those of us who love girls with low self-esteem!

Dracula's Bride - Count Dracula, Bram Stoker's Dracula

Who is she?
She's Dracula's Bride. C'mon.

What is she?
She's a vampire.

Why is she hot?
Played by the international beauty Monica Bellucci, in this EXTREMELY NSFW clip, she seduces Keanu Reeves by just showing up. She can use her vampire glamours to get you into a trance and make you have a threesome with two other hot vampire chicks... which come to think of it, doesn't make her too powerful because how much convincing does that really take?

Also, watch this clip that is 100% NSFW and will probably get taken down from YouTube at any second.

DREN - Splice

Who is she?
DREN (which is NERD backwards... you're welcome) from the movie Splice is the weird, creepy animal/human thing played by Delphine Chaneac that they accidentally create who grows up to have an AWESOME body within a matter of weeks.

What is she?
The result of experimentation, she is an omnivore amphibian, reptile and human all at once -- basically, she can use her freaky wings, prehensile tail and super-human strength to knock your freakin' SOCKS off (which you shouldn't have had on in the first place, according to women and common sense.)

Why is she hot?
Here goes trying to explain this without sounding like a complete freak, but part of why this movie was so disturbing is how actually hot she gets, so let's do this:

Well, first of all, she gets what she wants. She's stronger than you, has a TAIL, can fly, survive underwater and always wants to bang, ALWAYS... which comes up later in the movie, but no spoilers here. She's also played by French model and actress Delphine Chanéac who can probably drink you under the table. And once again, she ALWAYS wants to bang, so you're pretty much going to be (I'm very sorry for this) getting some tail every night (once again, very sorry.)

So, there would be little to no effort on your part since all you really have to do to attract her is be (or at least seem) human. It'd be like the convenience of having a live-in chef, only for SEX! And the chef always wants to cook... alright, let's see YOU think of a better metaphor.

Also, if you've seen the movie (spoilers ahead if you haven't), there are two words that sum up how far DREN will go for some ass: Inside. You.

Julie Walker - Return of the Living Dead 3

Who is she?
Julie Walker in Return of the Living Dead 3, played by Melinda Clarke (that topless punk-looking chick from the graveyard in 2 was a close second, but she wasn't "monster" enough).

What is she?
Formerly just a hot girl, she now is a hot girl zombie, re-animated with governmental chemicals by her boyfriend after she died because she was just. That. Fucking. Hot.

Why is she hot?
To forget the fact that she is a zombie and has a craving for human flesh (*snicker*), Julie discovered that extreme pain makes the cravings go away.

And what does everyone (especially everyone in the 80s) associate extreme pain with? That's right, S&M.

So the end result is a hot zombie with great boobs who continually dresses up in S&M gear, writhes around like a snake and kicks the ass of everyone that's trying to kill her, sometimes with a shard of glass she drove through her own hand. Hot.

There's also something strangely sexual about all the penetration in the movie (no, not that kind, I mean the kind that body modification mavens and some S&M people are into.)

Laurie - Trick 'r Treat, The Wave

Who is she?
Laurie, a 22 year old "virgin" who expresses her insecurities by dressing up as little red riding hood for Halloween, played by Anna Paquin.

What is she(Trick R Treat spoiler alert)?
Well, frankly, she is the exact opposite of her costume. She's the hungry wolf, but not dressed up as her grandmother.

Why is she hot?

Acting innocent and cute works for most dudes and she plays this up THROUGHOUT this actually-pretty-damn-good horror movie in such a great way that even though she turns out the way she did, we (yes, I'm lumping you in with me) would pretty much all tap that. Also: Anna Paquin's body.

Marybeth Louise Hutchinson - The Faculty

Who is she?
Marybeth Louise Hutchinson in The Faculty, or actress Laura Harris (from The Faculty) is just your average hometown girl who just moved in from Atlanta. Who eventually chases Josh Hartnett around naked in this movie that everyone forgets was directed by freakin' Robert Rodriguez.

What is she?
A student from another world. No, not Atlanta. Literally, another world.

Why is she hot?
She's just a nice girl next door, with girl next door name, that is also the queen b***h of an alien life force infecting the local high school, making everyone (including Robert "T-1000" Patrick) into awesome, strong-ass skinjobs. So, she's powerful.

Also: because they are water-based aliens, she is ALWAYS wet, so you'll always get fresh-out-of-the-pool/Fast Times look from her. Always.

Sil - Species

Who is she?
She is Sil (Natasha Henstridge) in the film Species.

What is she?
A human-alien hybrid test tube baby of sorts. She grew up from the embryo stage to full-on woman in about 4 months, so technically, she's jailbait.

Why is she hot?
Sil is always, always, always inexplicably horny. Her mission is to procreate in order to propagate her species. Humans seem to be a DNA match, so she goes nuts in this really-more-of-a-softcore-porn horror movie.

Basically, acting sexy for the whole movie, then killing her prey when it doesn't work out and acting sexy again to find another date = her in the entire movie. It's a monster whose primary objective isn't to cause chaos, or to suck souls, or to bring upon the Biblical Apocalypse... its primary objective is to BANG. And YOU, yes you, could be next.

Who is she?
A random ghost who decides to blow Dan Aykroyd (even though Ghostbusters isn't technically horror, this item needed to be in here.)

What is she?
A ghost... which, in this scene, gives a whole new meaning to Ghostbusters.

Why is she so hot?
Well, there's really no reason for her to be blowing the guy who is publicly revered for killing your kind... unless she's a self-hating ghost. Which means low self esteem. Which means ghost blowjays pretty much every single night. Awesome.

Also, I wasn't about to put emaciated, fro-haired Sigourney Weaver on the list, either.

Who is she?
Lillith in Bordello of Blood (a Tales From the Crypt movie from the 90s), who's played by Angie Everhart, a popular 90s soft-core p**n star/actress.

What is she?
Vampire, the kind that sucks more than just blood (she runs a brothel full of vampire chicks almost as hot as she is.)

Why is she hot?
Well first, she's circa 90s Angie Everhart. Second, well, she's a mistress, so she probably knows every trick in the book.

Grendel's mother - Beowulf

Who is she?
Grendel's mother in the film Beowulf. Already, you can sense Mrs. Robinson-type hotness. The lack of a name alone contributes in an almost "Stifler's Mom" type of way, but hey, if it helps, the monster is played by Angelina Jolie.

What is she?
She is whatever she wants to be, she's a demi-God. Needless to say, she knows EXACTLY what to do. Also, she's CGI, but since this movie was fully motion-captured, we know that the CGI translates directly to a suit that was skin-tight on Angelina Jolie, so YES, she counts.

Why is she hot?
She's Angelina Jolie as the devil in disguise, when she wants to be. She is naked and wet (a trend on this list, apparently) and walks around with devil pitchforks as stilettos in her heels.

During her entire time in the movie, she spends her screen time as a seductress trying to undo Beowulf's morals, walking around naked and slowly and whispering how horny she gets him, in subtle kids-movie language.

Torture p**n for poor Beowulf, but not for the rest of us.

Selene - Underworld Series

Who is she?
Selene (Kate Beckinsale), the protagonist of the Underworld series, and inhabitor of every hot girl horror movie list ever made. Why? Well, check this picture out.

What is she?
A vampire that kicks ass fighting in the eternal struggle of vampires vs. werewolves and looks hot throughout all of the movies.

Why is she hot?
Well, other than the sex scene she has in one of the Underworld movies, she's basically wearing leather/spandex throughout the entire series, handling huge guns and doing all kinds of gymnastics. Unlike other vampires or monsters on this list, Selene remains a sexy vampire without any freakish changes that would "scare" the audience out of buying a poster of her for above their beds.

Who is she?
Ginger Fitzgerald from the movie Ginger Snaps (see what they did there?) is played by hot actress Katharine Isabelle and is your regular teenage girl dealing with the pains of puberty and growing up.

What is she?
She is also recovering from the scratch of a werewolf. So, she's kind of a werewolf.

Why is she hot?
Ginger goes from being a nobody to being a somebody, in an almost Teen Wolf way. It might be coincidental that her werewolf days are paired up with puberty, but she uses the changes in her body to their fullest extent. This includes her hormonal changes, the changes in her sex drive and the fact that she will pin you down and eat you. She also wears awesomely hot early 2000s shoulder shirts all the time.

Irena Gallier - Cat People

Who is she?
Irena Gallier or Nastassja Kinski's character in Cat People.

What is she?
A cursed woman with the predicament of transforming into a leopard while having sex and having to kill a human to return to being human -- which is really the worst kind of shape-shifting mechanism you can have.

Why is she hot?
Although she has enough feelings for her lover to not kill him when they consummate, clearly it wasn't enough. Her lover ties her up to the posts of the bed and then (and only then) does he get down to business... which is unbelievably awesome.

She's hot enough to make men have sex with her even though they consciously know what will happen next, so yes, you might lose your life if you go for it, but apparently she's hot enough for dudes to just not care.

Who is she?
The Countess in Once Bitten (yes yes, another non-Horror movie), played by Lauren Hutton.

What is she?
Another Mrs. Robinson, cougar-type that likes to seduce young men into sexual maturity. Why? Because she's a vampire and that's what she needs to stay young. Yet another monster who needs sex in order to live, much like every single male on earth.

Why is she hot?
As an older cougar, in order to lure virgins into bed, you have to be pretty sexy and on your game to be successful. This woman has had 400 years' experience of sex and feeding on men, although she won't tell you that. That amount of experience alone should warrant a jaw-dropping "sign me up" emotion in you. If you walked into a bar, chances are the first thing you're going to notice is the Countess, because she's going to be staring at you, waiting to slay you.
