Amen to that CMCD71.. I have noticed a huge pattern in the type of ppl who are conservatives, and if you ever look around you will notice that 99% of ALL VETERANS AND ACTIVE SOLDIERS are CONSERVATIVE, that should tell you right there who has soul.. Who has integrity, honor, loyalty, bravery.. 99% of all conservatives have never been or will ever be on welfare, no matter how poor we get because we know there is nobody who owes us anything that we have not earned. The 1% that may use welfare will not stay on it as long as possible as most welfare recipients will stay on as long as the government will let them.. Conservatives don't feel entitled to jack squat, we feel entitled to keeping what we earn tho.. But to ppl who don't ever pay taxes think that's selfish.. lol.. Conservatives have more morals and more patriotism than anyone else and that is super obvious..

Fred, you've obviously never studied American History...the conservatives during that time were wigs and they were loyal to the crown. I know you have these delusions about yourselves, but conservatism is anethma to the American revolution which fostered in change from the wealthy elite English ruling class. Not to mention, the revolutionaries were anti-corporation; who's tea do you think got dumped into the harbor? Oh, and don't even try the tax argument...conservatives didn't become "anti-tax" until liberalism discarded it as part of the movement. Yeesh, the more educated conservatives know damn well modern conservatism was created in the 1950's and began as strictly anti-communism and that it carries NO CONNECTION to the American Revolution. Conservatism as you practice it is an industrial philosophy like Marxism is in that it's NEW. Liberalism was developed in the 17th and18th Centuries and led to overthrows of divine right in Europe....you can't even justify your own political views as differing from the royalty of that period. Equal rights, the right of the poor as well as the wealthy to property, the creation of the public commons, those aren't conservative ideas! Not to mention Benjamin Franklin came up with a working idea for the social safety net, the seperation of church and state was established, etc. The fact is, this country is and always will be a liberal nation so give it up, and quit pretending right wingers provoked the American revolution when libertarianism didn't even begin to become a philosophy until the mid-19th century. Conservatism, such as it was back then was little more than preservation of social order and wealth...if you were conservative it's because you opposed liberalist policy ideas to open society up. This is what happens when you have people who don't study American history or world politics and instead decide because they're a member of the NRA (19th Century) and oppose taxes on the wealthy (wasn't part of the revolution) you hail from the American revolution, when your mindset and knee jerk reactions say otherwise. The revolution was to confirm the enlightenment, not establish Christendom in America...for god's sake. That you called Joe a "commie" shows your 1950's philosophical roots for god's sake.

Okay, show me where liberals have a "deport 'em all" caucus like the GOP does, show me where liberals use "creative editing" to try and make black people like Shirley Sherrod into the opposite of what she is in order to slime the NAACP, the nations OLDEST civil rights organization. CNN wrote a recent article about the "oppressed majority" and not a single person interviewed on record in support of the hilarious notion of white oppression was liberal. In fact time and again the article alludes to the "controversial nature" of a conservative who went on record, why were they controversial? Oh yes, because they're racist. The fact is, African Americans vote 91% Democratic, Hispanics vote 67% Democratic and Asians vote 65% Democratic, The ONLY demographic the Republicans have are OLD, WHITE MALES of middle aged extraction. Not to mention the GOP has massive majorities only in the South and places like Mississippi with Governor Boss Hogg not speaking out in opposition is trying to put Nathan Bedford Forrest on the state license plate; the founder of the KKK! You're WAY off base but hey, I'm used to knocking this ridiculous argument down by now....why don't you go hang out with James O'Keefe at the White Citizens Council er now CONSERVATIVE CITIZENS COUNCIL mixer and let the adults talk, okay?

Actually, that's not true...okay, let's analyze the numbers shall we? Can you count votes? I can...and guess what? 35% of voters voted in 2010. That's right...in 2008 over 60% voted but in 2010, barely more than half that number voted. Republicans only had 19% of the country vote for them...while it so happened 16% voted Democratic. Not to mention, you didn't get the expected results by not winning the Senate. But hey, I'd be pumped to with the 2010 election results, until I consider that 19% of voters is actually slightly more support than H.Ross Perot received in 1992. A depressed electorate means the zealots vote and by hook and by crook you got your zealots out, that's not exactly a broad cross section and the GOP's congressional approval numbers show this. Tell you what, if 2012 isn't a redux of 2008 you can crow to me and I'll admit I'm wrong, deal?

Actually they don't....can you count votes? I can and less people voted in the 2010 election than voted for Obama in 2008. The fact is, you didn't get the predicted result and we don't have the statistical outlier of 6% of voters saying they won't vote for you because you're black like we did with President Obama in 2008. But hey, I'd feel pretty good too getting 52% of the total vote tally...that is until I find out that 52% was 19% of the country....

If you haven't noticed you are being a total hypocrite. You mock people for visiting this site and "wasting their time" but isn't that what you are doing as well??? The only difference between you and the person you just scoff at as well as therestofthepoorpeopleyouare attacking is that they are proud to inform themselves of people who believe like they do in such an influential part of this country, this same part knowingly controlled mainly by the opposition. Why are we not allowed to be proud of people who believe in the same things we do -which are right btw- and why do you think you are so special that you can combat everyone in this insignificant little way of yours? You want "documentation?" read the Glenn Beck's book "Arguing with Idiots" - the last 50 or so pages are documentation to everything that precedes.
