AFI’s Top 10 Science Fiction Films By All Genre Movies Lists [161 more lists]
List of the AFI’s Top Science Fiction Movies. The Sci-Fi genre can consist of robot movies, films in space, even monster movies. In 2008 the American Film Institute honored America’s 10 greatest films in 10 classic film genres, of which Science Fiction was one. These were chosen from a ballot of 500 nominated films, to a jury of over 1500 leaders in the film industry. The ballot include films from 1915 to 2006.
