AFI’s Top 10 Sports Films

List of the AFI’s Top Sports Movies. In 2008 the American Film Institute honored America’s 10 greatest films in 10 classic film genres, of which Sports was one. These were chosen from a ballot of 500 nominated films, to a jury of over 1500 leaders in the film industry. The ballot include films from 1915 to 2006.
