After Beatles Rock Band, What's Next? By ericsandberg [15 more lists]
Guitar Hero has either released, or plans to release Guitar Hero Aerosmith, Metallica & Van Halen. Now Rock Band will go them one better with the release of The Beatles Rock Band. This begs the question: What's Next? Where do you go from The Beatles with either of these video game franchises? Here are some ideas.
- 1
Andrew Lloyd-Webber
Guitar Hero Andrew Lloyd-Webber.
Start off with the driving guitar of Chris Spedding and the sinister singing of Murray Head, from "Heaven On Their Minds" from "Jesus Christ Superstar", and go downhill from there. Descend into a netherworld of over-blown schmaltz, and shell out an extra $50 for the special "Phantom Of The Opera" Organ "Keytar" controller. -

All Sports Band
- 3
Chuck Berry
Guitar Hero Chuck Berry. This game has been on the drawing board for a while.
The major stumbling block is that almost every song in Berry's catalog has the exact same time-signature and chord sequence. The boredom factor sets in quickly until you get to the tricky "My Ding-A-Ling". Successfully navigate this song and you will unlock a groupie willing to indulge any urination fetish you may have. -
- 4
Bee Gees
Bee Gees Rock Band. The game opens with "New York Mining Disaster 1941". Fail and you get caught in a mine collapse. Rack up enough points and you will unlock footage from The "Sgt Pepper" movie. Or is it the other way around?
The game comes with a mat on which you have to replicate the Tony Manero Strut during "Stayin' Alive". - 5
Tenacious D
