Best Albums of 2010
Clark Benson For the first time, I'm going with an unranked year-end list. Worst year for albums in ages (perhaps in my lifetime). There is always good new music though, and I did add streams to a few highlights you may not have heard (check out the Sufjan EP for the coolest jam I've heard in a long time).
The weak year is also the reason I'm putting this out so late as well (I kept listening, hoping that something would break through). Only 3 artists on my list (Lanegan/Campbell, Sharon Jones, and Brad) put out albums that were their best work. Maybe some stuff will grow on me and I'll end up ranking this after all, but for now it's "directionally in order" (I like the stuff at the top more than the bottom).
