I enjoy good yarns, with complex plot lines, and fully fleshed out characters, complete with flaws. I also like a little wit thrown in. I hijacked another list and added some glaring omissions. I hope this will appeal to even more people.

    “ Some may dispute me putting this writer so near the top, but I feel it is justified. Brandon Sanderson brings a refreshing approach to the Fantasy genre, and in only a short number of years has introduced several inovative magic or power systems. It was no accident that he came to be chosen to complete Jordan's Wheel Of Time series. Harriet Jordan (Robert Jordan's widow) had been given a copy of the first book in the MIstborn series, and Brandon was offered the job. For many, the best books in this series, have been the one's completed by Brandon. Having said that, it would be foolhardy to underestimate the genius of Robert Jordan's concept of the whole series. Brandon after all did have Robert's notes to work with. Having said that, there is no doubting the sheer craftmanship that Brandon ahs shown in seamlessly continuing on from Jordan, and subtely raising the series to a cressendo. Because ot this, coupled with a prolific variety of superior work of his own, I have placed Brandon above Robert Jordan in my ranking. „
