    Del Taco

    If, like me, you're fed up with Taco Bells interesting definition of "mexican" food, then this is what you meant to eat. For instance, Taco Bells quesadilla is tiny, flat, devoid of chicken and flavor, and more expensive than it deserves to be. Del Taco's quesadilla is large, cheap, filling, chunky with chicken you can see and taste, and at a reasonable price. One word of warning though, there is a decent chance you're going to feel pretty gassy later on, so do not eat this before a first date or job interview.

    Other than in and out the others are gross!!! Fast food is so bad for you ughhhh!!

      Obviously you missed the point of this list. It's not called "The Healthiest Restaurant" list, it's based on the fact that we know it's bad for you, but if all you eat is tofu and celery then I pity your tasteless meals. Living life means experiencing things that aren't always "good" or "productive". Eat a goddamn cheeseburger and enjoy it.

    Is this only based on one state/region? The east coast has a much wider variety, and better ones too!

      Which eastern state are you referring to, because when I lived in Connecticut it was a choice of Burger King, Wendy's, McDonalds, and Taco Bell. That was pretty much it. If you're talking about the south, then yes, there are LOTS more to pick from, but I am basing this out of California. I do remember that Roy Rogers was pretty good, but there isn't one out here or north of the Donna Dixon line.

    Good move. I clicked "Change Style" on this bad boy. But...what about El Pollo Loco? Their sauces don't taste like mystery mayonnaise and their dollar menu can't be beat. EPC > Del Taco. Discuss...

      Valid point, but I think the main reason I left them off is that they add cilantro to more dishes than needed. I HATE cilantro, the smell makes me sick. While this is a very shallow reason for some, it is a major deal breaker for me and my taste buds. Another reason relating to taste is the fact that their grilled chicken is rather tasteless. Yes, it is cooked well, but they need to spice it up a bit to compensate for bland chicken.

    panda express cannot be on top of in n out on this list! all they have going for them is their orange chicken!

      Slow down there. Did i say that this was in any sort of order or ranking? If I were to do so: 1) In n Out 2) Carl's jr. 3) Jack in the Box 4) Panda Express and 5) Del Taco. Rest easy with the fact that these are meant to be fun and not set in stone.
