Finding a salad at a fast food restaurant is easy these days, but the battle remains for which is the best fast food salad around. Anyone can make a simple garden salad or a caesar salad, but these salads offer something more than the standard lettuce, tomatoes and cheese and are the best of the best out there.

Most fast food restaurants stick to a few trends with their salads offering Asian flavors, Southwest toppings, fruit and everyone's favorite bacon. Visit a fast-casual shop like Quiznos or Panera Bread and you'll find a wider variety of flavors and toppings.

Since they include vegetables rather than greasy hamburgers and fries, some of these items are also among healthy fast food options as well. Then again some only appear healthy on the surface and pack in more fat and calories than a fried chicken dinner.
