The Accountant
FILM: Drive Angry
Once I realized what type of character he was, I laughed out loud every time he walked on screen! He's got this calm demeanor, and you kinda get the feeling he got the title 'Accountant' for making people account for their actions-ya know, that or he's Death. He's scary-but in a fantastically fun way to watch! Where, oh, where has all the wry wit gone??
The Accountant: "Satan is simply the warden of a very large prison. Quiet man actually, thoughtful and he's well read. And I happen to know the idea of sacrificing children in his honour annoys him greatly."

Adam / Adina
FILM: Sorority Boys
He's done plenty of roles that are memorable and fun, such as Smallville and Poolhall Junkies. If you didn't love Michael Rosenbaum dressed up as a girl, we just cannot be friends. When he started caring about which purse went with which outfit, well, that was it. Way to make it believable, sir!

Anton Tobias
FILM: Idle Hands
This poor kid. This poor, poor kid. He's lazy. SO lazy that you could call his hands 'idle'. They say that idle hands are the devil's playground, and in this film, they're right. Devon Sawa stands up there with Ed Norton in 'Fight Club' for battling his own hand through an entire film. Being disarmingly likable, you root for him the whole time.

Baby Firefly
FILM: The Devil's Rejects
Sheri Moon Zombie takes cute and adorable to a new level...of horror. Who knew pretty little blondes could be so twisted? I would definitely want her on MY side. I'm just sayin'
-
Bill Pardy
FILM: Slither
Nathan Fillion.
Enough said.
Seriously, though, if you're not a fan of his at all yet, check out this film. He played the part with a perfect mix of humor and disbelief (considering the town is being overrun by body-snatcher slug-type-things....)
-
Cecil B. Demented
FILM: Cecil B. Demented
I can't begin to say how much I enjoyed this character. He's just obsessed with the cinema. Totally and completely. He wants to show the world what a REAL 'real' movie is. And he does. Oh, he really does.
-
Dr. Ian Malcolm
FILM: Jurassic Park
Maybe it's his quirky sense of humor. Maybe it's his chaos theory. Maybe it's his complete lack of astonishment that there can be such things as dinosaur clones. Whatever it is, it's fun to watch. :)
-
Drexl Spivey
FILM: True Romance
Who doesn't love Gary Oldman? This man is so versatile, I'm confident I'd watch anything he's been in. Playing a Jamaican-accented drug dealer/pimp in 'True Romance' was just the icing on the cake. He may have a somewhat short part in this film, but his performance definitely sticks with you.
-
FILM: Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Bueller.......Bueller. Ferris Bueller. What can we say about him? He's the guy we girls wanted to date, he's the guy guys want to be or be friends with. Fun, clever, outspoken, hilarious. You know you're always in for a great time with him around (even if you do end up trashing your father's car...)!
-
Hatchet-Face
FILM: Cry-Baby
I'm just gonna start by saying who DOESN'T need a friend like Hatchet-face? A chick who'll have a switchblade in your enemy's face before they can get angry at what you just said and/or did? I like her because she's tough as nails and not ashamed to be herself at all.
-
Hayley Stark
FILM: Hard Candy
Looking back on this character, I'd say it's like watching an extra-R rated Nancy Drew. Or maybe one of the Boxcar Kids. This girl really knows how to use manipulation to her advantage. And she's clever as h**l, too. But is she the good guy or the bad guy? You decide. :)
-
Helen Robinson
FILM: Fido
First of all, if you haven't seen 'Fido', you're missing OUT! That said, Carrie Ann Moss's character was absolutely fabulous. You got to watch her transform from a stuffy 50's-era housewife into an independent woman who embraces the comedic irony of her life. (She also burns down a building with some evil kids in it) So that's fun!
-
Helen Tasker
FILM: True Lies
Another fantastic wife that most men would love to have on their arm, Helen Tasker. Boy, she really takes things in stride, yeah?
-
Hudson Hawk
FILM: Hudson Hawk
This may be Bruce Willis's most comedic role. He certainly made me 'laugh out loud'. Hudson Hawk is confident, cocky and waaaay cool. He's big with the snappy comebacks, as well, which is always fun to watch!
-
J.D. Dean
FILM: The Heathers
What made this character so great? Well, first of all, he's a homicidal teenager. Got your attention? Get this-he's a LIKABLE homicidal teenager. If you're a chick, you'll fall in love. If you're Winona Ryder, you'll get even. LOVE IT!
-
Kenny
FILM: Can't Hardly Wait
This was my introduction to Seth Green. After seeing him in 'Can't Hardly Wait' I immediately had to get my hands on everything he'd acted in....and I was not disappointed. Kenny is hilarious, hands down. You knew that kid in high school-the one that tried SO hard to be trendy and 'cool' but ended up failing miserably....but he was still 'ok'. Well, 'Kenny' is that + the funny. Can't go wrong there!
-
Luther
FILM: The New Guy
This dude cracked me UP. 'Crazy eyes'.....I loved it. I won't say any more. Go check it out. B***H TO BULL, BABY!
-
Mars Krupcheck
FILM: Hostage
Ah, Ben Foster. Has he EVER done a bad role? (Before you say 'Angel' from X3-he did great, he just wasn't given enough storyline) He was PERFECT as the psycho-antagonist to Bruce Willis' down-on-his-luck hostage negotiator. My spine tingled every time this greasy-haired creep had something new to say. Completely underrated, I'd say.
-
FILM: Fight Club
Marla Singer was just cool. Quirky and strangely honest, you couldn't help being captivated by her every time she came onscreen. That she seemed to have a death wish....but not, only made her character that much more interesting. 'Fight Club' was phenomenal. Marla Singer just added another layer. :)
-
FILM: Snatch
My absolute favorite part about this character is that you can't understand a word he says until you put on the subtitles, then you feel kinda dumb for not getting what he's saying in the first place, but at least you get it. :) Gypsies are great characters in general, add in the mix of witty dialogue and some excellent fight sequences and you've got an extremely memorable guy!
-
Mindy Macready / Hit-Girl
FILM: Kick-Ass
If you haven't had the joy of watching this movie yet-you are MISSING OUT. All of the characters were awesome, but none compared to 'Hit Girl'. This little girl doesn't want a pony for her birthday, but a specialty knife is right up her alley... As ruthless as the Punisher, she's even got some Shwarzenegger-worthy one-liners! This girl will be big, mark my words...
-
The Monkey King
FILM: The Forbidden Kingdom
One of the 2 roles that Jet Li played in the film 'The Forbidden Kingdom', the Monkey King is deadly as well as goofy and playful. They just could not have done better!
-
Nathan/Repo Man
FILM: Repo! The Genetic Opera
Loving father or mass-murdering Repo Man who comes to take your organs back in the dead of night? Try both. Fans of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' will recognize this maniac as the lovable 'Giles'. He goes above and beyond in this role as a man torn between two identities that are both truly him. He's also got a lovely singing voice! :D
-
Nicholas 'Oz' Oseransky
FILM: The Whole Nine Yards
Um, utter brilliance. Seriously. Completely neurotic 'Oz' is a dentist who finds out his neighbor is an assassin. Already squeamish and afraid of everything, Oz gets thrown into a crazy world of gangsters and killers and does NOT deal with it well. You'll laugh every time he walks into the frame!
-
Paul Smecker
FILM: The Boondock Saints
Hands down, my favorite role of all time. Paul Smecker is almost psychic when it comes to breaking down a murder scene to try and find out who the killer is. What makes his character so great is not the fact that he happens to be homosexual in an extremely butch-but-not type way, or even the fact that he's the absolute best in his line of work and KNOWS it. No, what makes this character great is that he goes through the ultimate struggle of 'should I do what everyone else thinks is right, or what I think is right?' and you believe every second of it. Willem Dafoe, please continue to surprise and captivate us!
-
Roy / Mr. Furious
FILM: Mystery Men
Worst super-hero EVER. Mr. Furious gets angry, and when he gets angry, well, he may or may not have lifted a bus that one time.... Tragic in a comedic way, this character was fun to watch! Ben Stiller is normally a funny guy, but an angry, funny guy? I'll take that over 'silly' any day.
-
Sol
FILM: Doomsday
What to say about Sol? Well, he's scary. And by scary, I mean a REAL loose cannon. As the unchallenged leader of the survivors of an epidemic that forced the rest of the world to close off Scotland, he shows absolutely no mercy. And if you talk back, he may eat you. As in, like, dinner. I'm just sayin'
-
Staff Sergeant Dignam
FILM: The Departed
He's right on top of it with the witty sarcasm dripping off every word he says. If it's possible to curse all the time, he's really great at that, too. He doesn't have a huge role in the film, but he definitely makes a huge impact. I won't give it away, but if you don't know what I'm talking about, you need to see it!
-
Ted the Bellhop
FILM: Four Rooms
Oh, poor Ted! He starts off his shift at the hotel he works at just fine. Everything is going swimmingly! Then, just when we start to expect something may happen, it does! Poor Ted has to deal with a coven of witches in search of a substance only a certain person can provide, a psychotic trigger-happy husband, a gangster's ruthless kids, and a disturbing in-the-moment bet you don't want to be a part of! From beginning to end, a wonderful black comedy!
-
Todd Gaines
FILM: Go
Todd is the type of drug dealer who will take a girl as collateral in exchange for drugs. He's also very sure of himself...which makes his interaction with the quite shy Katie Holmes (aforementioned collateral) that much more entertaining....You love to hate him. You also love to love him, somehow?
-
Wan 'Short Round' Li
FILM: Indiana Jones & the Raiders of the Lost Ark
"Doctor Jones! Doctor Jones!!" This phrase said the way he said it in the movie will never fail to make me smile. :) Given, 'Temple of Doom' was my least favorite of the first 3 films, but this kid kept me laughing. He's funny, intelligent, and such a cutie! I, personally, can't help but love him!
-
FILM: A Knight's Tale
Ah, Wat. He was priceless, yeah? Heart of gold, and yet SO ANGRY! The whole film is one of those you can watch over and over, but Alan Tudyk really 'brought it' for this one! My favorite quote: "Uh, betray us, and I will fong you, until your insides are out, your outsides are in, your entrails will become your extrails I will w-rip... all the p... ung. Pain, lots of pain!!!" Nice.
