The 2013 Movies Most Worth Seeing in Theaters

List Criteria: The top films worth the price to see on the big screen, including IMAX and 3D

List of the best movies to see in theaters in 2013, as ranked by movie fans and critics. These days there are so many movie watching options that it hardly seems necessary to make it to the theater anymore. There are Netflix, Amazon Prime, DVDs, Blurays, and cable showings of every movie to come out in theaters. All of these films are usually released months after they leave theaters. However, some films are just not meant to be experienced first on the small screen. Movies with action packed adventures, vivid special effects, and larger than life personalities are best experienced on the big screen.

This list features the best films to see in theaters in 2013. There are a myriad of reasons why seeing these films on the big screen is the greatest decision. The giant robots in Pacific Rim wouldn’t be quite as impressive if they were only the size of your TV screen. The car chases in Fast and the Furious 6 would be a bit boring without the impressive quality of the theater screen. All the films on this list may lose a little something if they aren’t first seen in theaters.

What are the best movies to see in theaters in 2013? These films are filled with action, adventure, and amazing effects that are meant to be seen as big as possible.
