There are many "Best ski resort" lists. Most of them try to accomodate the fact that different people care about different things: terrain, snow, nightlife, other activities, family friendly, etc. This list is just about the quality of the skiing itself for expert skiers (and boaders, with the exception of the top-rated one).

    500 inches of the nation's best snow, falling on amazing terrain. No snowboarders allowed last I checked.

    Simply huge. Lots for everyone.

    Like Alta, but a little less snow, lots more snowboards.

    Over 300 days of sunshine each year, and still over 400 inches of annual snowfall. Usually open into June. My current home hill.

    stumbled on this list. you are going deep with this stuff man, Revelstoke is defintiely one for those in the know. good to see finally someone not all about CO.

    I went to Mammoth this year and the snow wasn't really that epic.
