My all time favorite character and the reason I read comics. The reason I went to art school and continue to draw. Be he campy West or deep voiced Bale, I loves me the Bat.

The ultimate underdog. The Rey Misterio of comics. Is Spidey great because he's like us? Because he has real problems? Because life is always against him? For me Spidey is great because one of the first issues of his comic I read he fought Doctor Doom. Correction, he was a punching bag for Doctor Doom. for 20 pages he was beaten and battered with no hope of pulling out a win. For 20 pages, he never gave up. That's why Spider-Man is great. Wealth and Fame, he's ignored. Action is his reward!

There would be no superhero genre without the Man of Steel. As a symbol of the good in all of us, Superman is a hero for all ages. At the forefront of every comics revolution, given great runs by everyone from John Byrne to Grant Morrison, Superman is the constant shining star for humanity to guide themselves by.
