Initially, I chose to watch this movie because I had heard of a cameo from John Cleese. About 15 minutes into the film, I suddenly realized that I had playing before me, one of the strangest, and still relevent pieces of film I had ever witnessed.Prepare to tilt your head in confusion, arch a brow, pause and ask your fellow movies viewers, ""wait, what the hell just happened?""

It's a punk-rock musical starring a German immigrant transvestite. Do you -really- need to know much more?It tells the life story of the cross-dressing, gender bent heroine, from 'her' humble beginnings in Germany, and how she came to America, only to be ripped off by an ex-lover, who goes on to make it big.The whole movie is strange, but the music is -amazing.-

Okay, so it's a post apocalyptic movie. Nothing special, right? Wrong! Imagine a world where civilization has crumbled, and the only hope for any decent human culture has been preserved in Las Vegas, where Elvis is literally the king. Now imagine a bunch of retro rockstar looking guys with swords, shiney shoes and cheap sunglasses, fighting to the death to claim the throne of the king shortly after he passes away.Oh, and did I mention that death himself has begun killing all would-be rock n' rollers?Personally, this is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's strange, witty, and full of kickass action and rock n' roll!

    2003
    Robert Parigi
    Psychological thriller, Horror, Slasher
Rip Torn, Desmond Harrington, Camille Guaty, Udo Kier, Melissa Sagemiller, Robert Bagnell More
Have you ever wished that you had the perfect lover? Somebody who doesn't argue or debate with you over every miniscule little thing? Someone who dressed the way you wanted, and looked the way you wanted at all times? Well, the guy this film revovles around apparently had those same ideals in mind, and finds himself buying a life sized, anatomically correct love doll.Unfortunately, the doll seems to have a mind of its own, and is progressively becoming more and more jealous of a real-life woman. Is the doll plotting, and pulling the strings of this desperate, love-starved man, or is he just a few cans shy of a six-pack?This is the sort of movie you'll probably not want to watch with your mother and father (or, actually, this is exactly the kind of movie you -should- watch with them! Awkwardness is entertaining in its own way) but it's certainly more than enjoyable, in that weird, uncomfortable sort of fashion.

    2002
    Lucky McKee
Drama, Psychological thriller, Thriller, Horror, LGBT, Romance Film, Cult More
Chandler Riley Hecht, Will Estes, Roxanne Day, Rachel David, Nora Zehetner, Kevin Gage, Angela Bettis, Jennifer Grant, Jeremy Sisto, Anna Faris, Nichole Hiltz, James Duval, Merle Kennedy More
We all know her. The quiet, slender, nerdy girl that doesn't really interact well with society. Sheltered and maybe just a wee bit off her rocker. Usually creepy old cat ladies develop from this stereotype, but the woman this movie revolves around seems to develop another fixation. You see, she's got a keen eye for beautiful things.. Namely, beautiful parts. Human parts. Desperate for companionship, she takes it upon herself to build the perfect lover, from the perfect parts of the not-so-perfect victims she takes. What's not to love?
