Christian Film Production Companies

List of Christian movie companies and producers of Christianity-based film productions. These are studios and companies producing movies specifically for the Christian demographic, typically (though not exclusively) dealing with Christianity or religious-themed films. Many of the films produced by these companies focus on retelling Biblical stories, but many also tell contemporary stories of concern to Christians, or with a Christian perspective.

Though some of these production companies have interacted with the traditional Hollywood entertainment industry (such as Big Idea Entertainment, the producers of the "Veggie Tales" films), more often, these are independent companies financing films on their own. Many of these movies are then distributed directly to consumers through churches, or via the Internet. Many work with crew members or actors who first gained fame via mainstream TV and film (such as Kirk Cameron.) In some cases, such as Sherwood Pictures, the Christian production companies are directly affiliated with churches.
