Who should play Christian Grey in the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie? That's up for heated debate. Christian Grey is a main character in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' (just in case you haven't read the '50 Shades' trilogy yet). He's a 27-year-old billionaire who is obsessed with BDSM. He seduces vulnerable college grad Anastasia Steele into becoming his submissive sex slave. She falls in love with Christian quickly, even though he's dangerous. Anyone cast as Christian in a 'Fifty Shades' movie absolutely must have an intense, steely look. Would Ryan Gosling make a great, twitchy-palmed, intense Christian? Can you see Matt Bomer running his hands through his hair in exasperation over something Ana's said or done? Would 'Vampire Diaries' star Ian Somerhalder look fantastic spanking someone? And, more importantly, would any of the actors on this list actually take this crazy role?! That remains to be seen. Joseph Morgan (born Joseph Martin; May 16, 1981) is an English actor. He is best known for his role as Klaus Mikaelson on the CW series, The Vampire Diaries.
Morgan was born in London, England, but lived in Morriston, Swansea, for 11 years [2] and was a pupil at Morriston Comprehensive School and then studied a BTEC Performing Arts course at Gorseinon College, now Gower College Swansea, before moving back to London to study at the Central School of Speech and Drama in his late teens

In 2010 he played the title role in the mini-series "Ben Hur" which first aired on CBC television in Canada and ABC TV in America, on April 4, 2010.

He plays Klaus in The CW's show The Vampire Diaries and played Lysander in the 2011 film Immortals, alongside Henry Cavill.
