Which country has the most endangered mammals? This endangered mammals list includes all threatened mammals except for porpoises and whales. Threatened mammals are defined as those listed in 2008 by the IUCN as endangered, vulnerable, rare, indeterminate, out of danger, and insufficiently known. Indonesia topped the list with 183 species.
