Famous Mosques in the United States

This is a list of mosques I've posted, or more specifically, world famous mosques in the United States. I've included a lot of photographs. Mosques are the place of worship for Muslims, the followers of Islam. Mosques began on the Arabian peninsula, but today can be found on every heavily populated continent. While mosques may be a center of controversy today in some parts of the world, including the United States, one has to admit that many of them are rather beautiful. Since this list of mosques in America is of some of the most famous mosques in the world, many of these will also be the most impressive. I hope you enjoy all the pictures of famous mosques!
