You can get a Heineken just about anywhere. It's dependable, refreshing, not too hoppy, not too bland, its a middle of the road beer. When I'm at a concert or venue that has mainly bland beers (bud, miller), usually they will also have Heineken - this is always preferred in those situations.

A good, hearty beer. Will put some hair on your chest.

Basic and smooth, doesn't over-impose on hops or under-impress with blandness. Nice combination, always welcome at my parties.

Nutty and a bit on the flat side, not as bubbly as other beers but makes up for it with some subtle chocolaty flavors.

They are spontaneously fermented, meaning that yeast is not added, the naturally occurring yeast in the air where the beer is made (Belgium) is used to ferment it. The beers are fruity, sweet, and a departure from what most people consider to be 'beer'.
