Fermented Foods to Make and Consume
Fermenting is not only (generally) easy, but good for you too, so why not give it a try? On top of that, you probably are already eating or drinking a lot of fermented foods not even realizing it!

Why is sourdough so damn flavorful? The yeast is grown from a constant feeding of flour and water that causes it to ferment. Do some research and either bum some starter off a friend (or website of course) and continue feeding it and the options are endless: bread, pancakes, biscuits... one thing's for sure, you'll get some tasty fresh sourdough in one manner or another. - 2
Unbeknownst to you, the sausage you buy can be fermented- why do you think it tastes so good? - 3

Originating in Korea, there's a reason this made it overseas. It's highly addictive and comes in many different forms and flavors. Usually made with napa cabbage, lots of spice, and often times some sort of seafood (the spice and fermentation should keep you from getting sick, don't worry).
