Fermented Foods to Make and Consume
Fermenting is not only (generally) easy, but good for you too, so why not give it a try? On top of that, you probably are already eating or drinking a lot of fermented foods not even realizing it!

- 8Salt and cabbage. That's all it takes. Oh, and a crock pot. Combine the two, in the right proportions of course, let it rest for 4-6 weeks and you will have yourself some of the freshest sauerkraut in town.

And to finish off this list, we'll end with a classy glass of wine. Wine is typically created from fermented grape juice and is crafted with varying degrees of care resulting from 2 buck chuck (available at your local Trader Joe's) to 200 dollar bottles (and up) of limited edition wines. You should be able to find your place within this price bracket, and unless you have a supply of grapes, this is a fermented beverage I suggest you just purchase. Hey, it's your reward for experimenting with all these other fermented foods!
