Maybe it's the grizzly violence, or the horrible dialogue, or maybe it's Willem Dafoe in drag. Can't be sure but all I know is that I have no idea why people like this movie.

I have a soft spot for all three of these movies, but why? I cringe at the dialogue and every time they break all of the odds and come out victorious in the end I can't help but feel happy. Even if it does happen three times in a row.

I'm getting to old for this s**t. All four of these are the same movie, how many times can a family get kidnapped by bad people who know karate. On the other hand I own all four.

This is mostly for women who love Johnny Depp. The first one was good but the other two made no sense. Remember the end of the last one when all of the ship's Captains go into battle but only one fight, dumb.

Is there a movie with more stereotypes of Japanese in a movie, not really. But for some reason all four of these movies are enjoyable; right down to Mr. Miyagi being mysterious, and Daniel Son getting his ass kicked then coming back from behind to beat up the bad guys.
