If We Could Bring Him BackSusan: "He was a great dog, a great friend."
Ben: "The best dog a kid could have."
Susan: "When you lose someone you love, they never really leave you. They move into a special place in your heart."
Victor: "I don't want him in my heart. I want him here with me."
Susan: "I know. If we could bring him back we would."
As Victor learn, losing a pet is heartbreaking. As much as you want to bring them back, it's impossible, right? Right?

Mr. Whiskers Left a MessageWeird Girl: "Something big is going to happen."
Victor: "How do you know?"
Weird Girl: "Because Mr. Whiskers left a message."
Victor: "Did you get that out of the litter box?"
We've all heard about seeing religious figures in foods and other random objects but this interaction between Victor, the Weird Girl and her equally as weird car Mr. Whiskers might be the first reported case where someone finds an image or message in cat poop.

LightningMr. Rzykruski: "Lightning is simply electricity. The cloud is angry, yes, making some. All the electrons are saying 'I am leaving you. I go to the land of opportunity.' The ground says 'yes, we need electrons trained in science, just like you. Come, come, welcome!' So both sides start to build the ladder. This man, he comes out to look at the storm. He does not see the invisible ladders. When the two ladders meet, BOOM! The circuit is complete and all of the electrons rush to the land of opportunity. This man is in the way. Ahhhhhh!"
Mr. Rzykruski explains to his class the science behind lightning, though in a cartoony kind of way. It was however effective as this lesson inspired Victor to perform a grand experiment in bringing his dog back to life, one that succeeded.

I Can Fix ThatVictor: "You're alive! You're alive! Sparky, you're alive! I can't believe it. You're alive! ... I can fix that."
It's not just Victor who is excited that he's managed the seemingly impossible in bringing his dead dog Sparky back to life but Sparky is equally excited to see his old pal Victor, so excited that his tail dislodges and flies across the room into a waste basket.

Edgar KnowsVictor: "Edgar?"
Victor: "Edgar, what are you doing here?"
Edgar: "I know."
Edgar: "I know."
Victor: "Know what?"
Edgar: "You know"
Edgar: "I think I know what you know I know."
Victor: "Look, I don't know what you think I know, but I don't know it."
Edgar: "Your dog is alive!"
Victor: "That's impossible!"
Edgar: "I know. I know it is so impossible but you did it. You did it! So show me how or I'll tell everyone. Oh Mrs. Frakenstein..."
Rule number one to bringing your dead dog back to life, don't let the freaky "E Gore" kid hear about it. Victor unfortunately learned that rule the hard way.

Mr. Whiskers DreamedWeird Girl: "Mr. Whiskers dreamed about Bob. He fell in a man hole... He dreamed about Nassor the day he got knocked unconscious."
That Weird Girl with her creepy cat, Mr. Whiskers, is back and this time she's got one tall tale. According to Weird Girl, Mr. Whiskers dreams and not only dreams but has psychic dreams in which he sees bad things before they happen to local folks. No word on how she knows what Mr. Whiskers dreams about but we'll leave that one alone.

Victor, I Need Your HelpBob: "Victor, I need your help."
Victor: "Did you see those things? They were like..."
Bob: "Sea monkeys, you know how on the package they're like, in a happy kingdom and everyone's smiling?"
Bob: "They're not like that at all."
Toshiaki: "Victor, I need your help."
Bob: "I asked him first."
Toshiaki: "My brother bigger"
Bob: "Yeah, he's right."
Bringing your dog back to life seemed like a good idea at the time for Victor but once word spread and others started bringing creatures back to the word of the living, everything from sea monkeys to giant lizards appeared. Not good, Victor.
