Season 1-5 spoilers ahead! Scenes of sex and death are near certainties in every episode of HBO's Game of Thrones. And while sex acts don't necessarily each end in murder, the frequent close proximity of the two on the show certainly establishes a pattern. You know there's plenty of sex in Game of Thrones, but are there really that many sex deaths? You better believe it.
In the interest of balance, GoT has also offered some violent and controversial sex scenes that characters somehow survived. Take poor Sansa Stark, for instance. She probably wished she was dead after her wedding night with homicidal rapist Ramsay Bolton. Not to mention Jaime and Cersei, who controversially got it on near their son's deathbed. However, most characters weren't so lucky. Have a look below at the many Game of Thrones characters who got their rocks off before being knocked off.
Death: Season 1, Episode 7, "The Old Gods and the New"
Randy King Robert Baratheon sired over one dozen illegitimate children, according to the King's Landing rumor mill (and the prophesy of a woods witch, who estimated 20). Incapacitated by tainted wine supplied by his vindictive wife King Robert was killed by a boar. Given the number of infants later killed in the purge of his progeny, however, chances are very good that the sexual glutton got a final romp in before the goring.

Drennan, the Ironborn Guard
Death: Season 2, Episode 6, "The Old Gods and the New"
Osha killed a guard named Drennan after seducing him. Poor brute was killed on just the promise of sex, not even the act itself.
Death (presumed): Season 2, Episode 10, "Valar Morghulis"
When Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen asked her handmaiden Doreah to use her womanly wiles to get information out of Quarth council member Xaro Xhoan Daxos, she seriously overreached.
After Daenerys found her Dothraki followers dead and retrieved her stolen dragons from the House of the Undying, she discovered Doreah's hookup with Xaro, locked the two in an impenetrable safe and threw away the key.
Death: Season 3, Episode 6, "The Climb"
Ros rose in her trade from ambitious Winter Town prostitute who serviced Tyrion to King's Landing brothel manager who entertained sadistic King Joffrey. She met her end when her boss, Littlefinger, found out she was spying and allowed Joffrey to use her for target practice. see more on Ros
