Hollywood Walk of Fame Stars

A list of stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with photos. This list includes all television and movie stars. Acquiring a star on the Walk of Fame is considered a huge accomplishment in Hollywood, even among celebrities. To do so involves lobbying the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and making a $30,000 donation if you're selected (about 10% of the potential nominees are selected each year). Stars can be awarded for film, television, music, radio, and live performance. The walk is located on both Hollywood Blvd and Vine Street. The Walk of Fame was created in the 1950's. Administration is taken care of by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, while the Hollywood Historic Trust handles maintenance.
