"Music...Makes the people...come together..."

Madonna's evolution as visual, musical and performace artist has been an inspiration and guilty pleasure to observe...and experience. I, like countless others, feel a kinship with her, recalling buying her self-titled debut on cassette and then playing it in my car, packed-full of my best friends who had never heard her music before. Like wildfire, it spread through our school and then to the next, and so on, and so on...

I'm sure many of you have memories similar to this. Although hindsight is 20/20 and it's far too easy to claim "I KNEW IT", I dare say this; Millions believed they were experiencing 'the next big thing' however very few would have predicted the extent to which she would develop as a singer, dancer, performace artist, philanthopist, activist and leader...with more commercial success and artistic credibility than any other woman, ever.

I've selected these 25 videos for their relevance and significance to me personally. Some are HQ (primarily Official Music Videos) whilst others smaller, less quality fan-made clips. I've included a few of my favourite remixes as well with the hope of exposing you to her lesser known material.

I have yet to add comments to every clip but have every intention of doing so. Suffice to say that without question, "Get Together" is my all-time favourite but it was a challenge simply organising these in numerical order as the 'list' is always changing, often reflecting what's going on in my life. I would venture to say that this is approximately the 15 'final' list that has been repeatedly reviewed and then revised. Regardless, it's no stretch for me to choose her music and videos when putting together playlists, etc., which had then inspired me to put an effort into creating a playlist of my her finest work to date.
