Most Likely to Choke in Super Bowl XLVI

The most likely to choke in Super Bowl XLVI could be a kicker, a quarterback, a coach or even someone who is not competing, rather set to perform at the NFL championship game. The person who is most likely to choke at this year's Super Bowl could be a New England Patriot or a New York Giant but whoever it is likely won't stop hearing about their failure for a long time after the February 5, 2012, game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Undoubtably, New York Giants fans are hoping that a member of the Patriots chokes and makes the game that much easier for the Giants. Many would select quarterback Tom Brady as their choice for the choke though kicker Stephen Gostowski, receiver Wes Welker and tight end Rob Gronkowski are pretty high up on that wish list as well.

For New England Patriots fans, many are wishing for the Giants' quarterback Eli Manning to choke and make it easier for the Patriots to seek revenge from Super Bowl XLII when New York upset New England. Pats fans are likely also eyeing kicker Lawrence Tynes, running back Ahmad Bradshaw and even the Giants Head Coach, Tom Coughlin, as hopefuls.

But there is another whole category of famous celebrities that will be on the world's stage at Super Bowl XLVI. Should Madonna, who is scheduled to be the Super Bowl halftime performer or Kelly Clarkson, who is set to sing the national anthem before the game, screw up, they will go down as one of the many Super Bowl fails.

Regardless of who chokes at Super Bowl XLVI, there will also be one team that takes home the Lombardi Trophy and the National Football League championship as well as one player who will go down at the Super Bowl XLVI MVP. Thankfully for whoever the unfortunate person is who chokes, those winners will get the majority of the spotlight for years to come.
