Many huge artists these days and in the past have been or are shadowed by a bigger force. The sensational Animals were always shadowed by big hits the Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles. Coldplay has usually been shadowed by big pop artists like Lady GaGa and Katy Perry. All of these artist are great but never brought to anyone's attention.

      The Replacements were a punk/alternative rock group from Minniapolis, Minnosota in exsistance from 1979-1991. They combined old fashioned hard rock with Punk to help create the alternative rock scene an entire decade before grunge saw its birth in Seattle. Over all, a criminally under rated band.
