THE SHININIG: The acting is horrible (especially Shelley Duvall), the atmosphere is oddly irritating, and the drama between Jack and Danny is extremely forced. Overall, The Shining just wasn’t compelling to me.\n\nINCEPTION: The action is good, and the movie is nice to look at, but Inception lacks an emotional core. Christopher Nolan is so obsessed with creating a visual and intelligent film that he forgets to write strong characters. And the open ending with his family feels like such a gimmick.\n\nSCOTT PILGRIM: I dislike videogames, so this may be the reason why I disliked this one. But overall, I just didn't find anything funny. And the story was lame.\n\nBATMAN RETURNS: I love dark movies but this one was just way too dark and morbid. Plus it seems to be all about stylish images but no story. \n\nTHE BIG LEBOWSKI: First fifteen minutes made me laugh. That’s about it.
