1She's staring at the tiny drop of water on a single strand of hair.... she's holding the strand tight with her hands. The camera is focused on the tiny droplet. She pulls apart the strand of hair, the focus immediately shifts to her eyes and she says BOOM - the scene of the silent suicide bombing rehearsalSantosh SivanAyesha DharkerSantosh SivanA. 3Colors have never been used more boldly. There's poetry in every frame. A fight in a blue room with blue (and some white) objects in blue clothes. They break all rules and do it in style :)Zhang Yimou2002-10-19Jet Li,Tony Leung Chiu Wai,Maggie Cheung,Zhang Ziyi,Chen Daoming,Donnie YenBin Wang,Feng Li,Zhang YimouZhang YimouMartial arts,WuxiaChristopher DoyleChinaTan DunSuper 35 mm filmNameless,Broken Sword,Flying Snow,Moon,Sky90

6Love the way the camera shows the distance between the 2 main characters in this movie. This has to be one of the best shot Maniratnam movies. Love the scene when Mohan Lal gets the feel of his fan following on the terrace of Prakash Raj's house. Prakash Raj takes him to the terrace and lets Mohan Lal walk across to the other side... Mohan Lal is totally unaware of the crowd waiting for him... The scene is shot from the top... he wanders across... no background music... and he slowly sees a sea of people waiting to get a glimpse of him... A huge roar as soon as they see him. Prakash Raj tells him that this is power :-) and lifts Mohan Lal's hand... and ends with a much louder roar. A better description here: http://manismagic.iespana.es/iruvar.htm . The images are not great though. This is Aishwarya's first movie... and she's never looked better since.Mani Ratnam1997-01-14Mohanlal,Tabu,Prakash Raj,Gouthami Tadimalla,Aishwarya Rai,NassarMani Ratnam,Suhasini Mani RatnamMani Ratnam,Suhasini Mani RatnamSantosh SivanA.
