avatar definitely should win best cinematography. 2010 oscars can't compete with avatar.

The oscars cinematography award is a given. If Avatar doesn't win, the Oscars are set up.

avatar should NOT win for cinematography because so much of the movie was special effects. Inglourious bastards deserves the award. avatar was an incredible movie and should deserve many movies, but not cinematography.

Avatar doesn't even deserve the nomination. It was well shot, but The Hurt Locker should win this category (haven't seen The White Ribbon though, which seems to be extremely well shot too). Though I miss Antichrist in the list, which is the best shot movie of the year, without any doubt at all.
