Meet Chimp 9v
Will: "Meet Chimp 9. We have him a gene therapy that allows the brain to create it's own cells, in order to repair itself. We call it a cure to Alzheimer's."
Will Rodman is a scientist who finds a huge breakthrough: a cure for Alzheimer's?! Unfortunately, he learns the hard way the potential cost of research on humanity.

Will: "Caesar continues to show cognitive skills that far exceed that of a human counterpart. The drug in his system has radically boosted brain function."
Caesar is clearly demonstrating extremely advanced skills. These skills will enable him to spearhead an ape revolution against the humans. Apes will rise, and they will wreak havoc. This is what happens when humans take things too far.

Dodge Landon: "Stupid monkey! He'll learn who's boss soon enough."
Dodge (Tom Felton), the arrogant, ignorant son of shelter owner/runner John Landon (Brian Cox), may want to watch what he says - that could come back to bite him, so to speak.

John Landon (to Will): "They're not people, you know."
Of course the chimps aren't people, but it is through them that people are able to make incredible medical advancements. Their sacrifices better our society - they deserve respect and honor. What happens when they don't get it? Apes rise.

Caroline: "You taught him to sign?"
Will: "Just a handful of things."
That 'handful of things' will prove invaluable to Caesar soon, Will, as he leads his fellow primates in an epic revolution.

Will (to Caesar): "No. You're not a pet."
At this point, Caesar is beginning to question his upbringing and his position in Will's family. Uh oh.

Don't Let Them Catch Youv
Will (to Caesar): "Don't ever let them catch you."
At this point, Caesar's in full-out revolt-leading mode, but Will still loves him - warning him not to let the scientists capture him, no matter what.

Caroline: "You're trying to control things that are not meant to be controlled."
Will really needs to listen to primatologist Caroline (Frieda Pinto). She knows these animals and knows the very real dangers.

Will: "You have no idea what you're dealing with!"
And therein lies a huge part of the problem, scientist Will. You are well aware of how highly advanced Caesar is - but your fellow scientists are not, nor do they seem to care unless it's fattening their bottom line.

Will: "He hasn't spent any time with other chimps."
This is definitely a problem, Will. You did a great thing by rescuing Caesar from the lab and protecting him as he grew up - but he's essentially been captive, cut off from his kind.
