Ha Ha! Shrek!!! All four were good and smart. How to train your dragon. Disney's Alladin. Bakshi's Cool World. Who framed Roger Rabbit. The Mask!!! Ha! "Somebody stop me!!" The people who made this list left out so many. They are idiots.

And dont forget the reason why i did not mention all of tim burton's filmsas well as some of the other directors i have mentioned! Duh! The creators of this list should know about them. They are Such Idiots!!!! It is preposterous!!!!

All i have to do is sit and think about all of the films i have seen which demonstrate satire, and remember from browsing this list that they are not on there. Please forgive me if some of the films i mention are, for i assure you most of them are not, and with so many that arent', i can' afford to take the time to browse through each time and check. (my internet is slow). Ha! Another. Benjamin Button.

Aha! Cape Fear is another great example! Aclassic smart satire while still being an amazing drama/horror film, that is (surprise!) not on this list. The style is very De Palma as i recall, but it might have been Scorsesi. Either way, another absentee from the so called "LIst of ALL the satire movies EVER MADE" What a joke!

Another addition to this extremely uncomprehensive list of supposedly "all" of the classic satire movies. Another by the director i mentioned earlier, Peter Jackson. Dead Alive is one of the funiest and grossest horror satires ever made. Way old, and genius, similar to the original Evil Dead 1& 2. Well his version of King Kong is a perfect example of a mix of realism and satire. a great film, whether anyone realizes it. And another great Adrien Brody film. (He was also one of the starring roles in the Darjeeling Limited, another title which should be on this list and isn't. The "list" goes on and on.......

And even tho these movies sucked, they probably forgot the obvious hot shots and it's sequel.

And jesus, what about ...oh s**t, i forgot my train of thought , there was another classic obvious film not on the list. But here are more: The truman show, Stranger than fiction, pleasantville, i think american beauty is on the list, Surprise!!!! They did not miss one!!!! I wish i could remember the one i just forgot! There were only a few wise notices that the creator or creators, (let's hope not), of this extremely uncomprehensive list put on here that i respect. One is the rules of attraction, an excelent satire.

They list alot of older classic comedies on here too, but i feel like they missed quite a few. Are the family vacation movies on here? Absolute neccesities of satire. And what about The great Outdoors?

Another director: De Palma. His Overdone style can be considered a certain form of satire. Blowout, Sisters, and which was the filom with the mongoloid killer in so-cal? Anyway most are familiar with his gangster sagas Carlito's Way and Scarface, but his other lesser known films are somewhat more stylistic and satiristic. Also the coen brothers. Absolutely satire on so many levels. fargo is a knockout. scary and humorous at the same time. Barton Fink, The big lebowski, a cult classic, and probably not on this terrible list either.

Nope, no total recall. To list two of the directors lesser known efforts, and then miss his most famous film is a major error. I cannot underscore the dissapointment of this listing effort more. Absolute Failure.

I'm just going to start naming them without even checking the list, because i know they are not on there. Orgasmo. Beavis and Butthead do America. Aeon Flux, Fifth Element, and they mentioned Starship Troopers and Robocop but did they even mention total Recall, a classic of the same genre and direct4ed by the same guy? And what about Demolition Man and Judge Dred, two more classic sci-fi satires? They mentioned Idiocracy, a similar production, why did they not include the others? Homework ladies and gents. I rate this list an F for pop culture failure.

They also missed Supertroopers and Shawn of the Dead. But they included tropic Thunder which proves the list was made after the production of both these classic satires. Most likely Hot Fuzz is also not on the list. Did they even include the Adams Family movies? Again, ridiculous if they didn't , but considering the long list of absentees i have so far revealed, most likely they did not. (shaking head)

He listed HUNDREDS of films, mostly foreign and obscure, to sound like he knows everything, yet failed to list even the most obvious classiscs, from teh good old USA, a nation which i am not particularly fond of but neverltheless cannot help but admit is the father of filmaking and many other amazing genres of modern art. Hopefully this list is not created by a TEAM of reviewers, because that would be TRULY embarrassing.

Nope, Spaceballs is not on here. That is unacceptable. And what about the movies by the guy who did best in show? And what about Robert Altman's movies? Shortcuts comes to mind. One of the best Satires. And he lists Donnie Darko. but what about the sequel, S. Darko, which most people i've talked to do not like, but i personally found to be a worthy effort. The list goes on and on and on!!!!!!!

Films which include a certain sense of humor that is properly done like the first (not the second! ew!) Ironman with Robert Downy Jr. and his other film Sherlock Holmes should also be listed in this category. also comedies like Superbad should also be included on this list, because Superbad, unlike other films form this director, intentionally pokes a finger at the comedy genre. This brings about the question though, where do you draw the line between comedy and satire? I personally beleive that if a film is masterfully done, than if it contains any traces of satire it should be listed on this "supposed best of the genre list". Other films which i assume are not on the list but should abviously be are the Ghostbuster films. Also, listed should bethe film Kick Ass. Obviously! Oh yeah, and the first two Spider Man movies might be considered satire, as well as, oh my gosh the list continues, are the Men in Black movies not on here? What about Hancock? This guy does not know his s**t! I will have to look and see if they are on here. Also, are the Evil Dead films on here? And what about Peter Jackson's classic Dead Alive? A satire Pioneer!!!! Mindblowing that they are not on this list. In fact, i think that Spaceballs is not on here. This is ridiculous. (if a few of these are, then grant me some slack, i deserve some for all my notable reminders!)

I can't quit this is too rewarding. You even forgot Brazil, which i personally do not like as much as most people, but the film is considered among all film buffs to be one of the acclaimed earlier science fiction satires. And why on earth do you not list Wes Anderson's films? They are some of the best satires, if not best films of recent decades. For those of you who are new to film and have the unfortunate opportunity to be educated by this guy/girls' list, watch Rushmore, The Royal Tennenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Ateve Zissous and The Darjeeling Limited. Also, Kevin Smith's earlier works, which are classics of the satire genre: Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Clerks, Dogma, and the previously mentioned Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, one of my faves. Learn your s**t, so you can be a good influence to the youngsters.

Okay i eat my words! It is just too ridiculous that Back to The Future and it's sequels are not listed on this list. Unlike some of the other movies i have mentioned these are obviously satire, and science fiction to boot. some of my favorite films of all time, at least the first two. So ha! Fix your damn list! Before you list off the wall older foreign films that are probebly low budget and boring compared to other obvious films which should be listed on this list, you only add to the newere genrations douchyness and forgetting of trademark series like the B.T.T.F. films. -- "You sure do know how to hydrate a pizza!"

God i keep going on and on! All of Tim Burton's better films. And David Lynch's. I feel like BUrton got s**ttier in recent years, but many of his earlier works are excellent examples of Satire and although i have not checked out of tediousness, i feel that they are most likely not listed on this terrible list. I also do not remember them being from reading the list. Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, Big Fish to name a few. Then there is David Lynch's Blue Velvet. Dry humour and satire are one in the same, both offering a mocking view of traditional hollywood filmaking. I'm sure i could find many more but i will do this reviewer a favor and shame him no more. Ha!

Okay so Princess Bride is There but not Willow! Ha! Caught you again! You need to learn your movies. And get some taste. When someone watches a movie like willow and does not get the humor involved one does not deserve a job in the review industry. The same with putting From Dusk to Dawn and not Tarantino's other films. Every one of them had strong satire undertones that need to be appreciated.

Did he even put Princess Bride on it? if he did then nevermind but i don't remember seeing it. Oh yeah, and did he put Willow? I'll bet he did not! Let me check! If not then this guy or girl really needs to learn their s**t. I hate it when people get paid to do things like this who are underqualified, when serious movie buffs like me with good taste are left at home broke.

Although some of the best satires were listed on this list, some of them were not, which is unfortunate. When someone makes a list like this that is read by many, he/she should do their research. A well made satire is often an amazing experience. Among the ones on the list i have seen and thought very highly of are Starship Troopers and Tropic Thunder. Both films have this way about them which seems very realistic yet mocking at the same time, one of the marks of a great film. Unfortunatley, the creator of this list put alot of s**ttier movies on it, and left out classics like Forest Gump, The World Acoording to Garp, Mash, Dune (The David Lynch Version), Kill Bill 1&2, Batman & Batman Returns, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Good Morning Vietnam, just to name a few. These films fit into the category of satire obviously but quite a few of them were great dramas at the same time. This may be why many viewers miss their dry humor. For example, David Lynch's version of Dune is one of the best science fiction films ever made, and best book adaptations, but surprisingly there are quite a few people who do not realize this. These people's taste makes me question their sanity. When one cannot appreciate a truly masterful work of art, and instead chooses to waste their time on mindless box office thrillers, one needs not wonder why the illuminati remain in control of world finance, and why, ofr example, people still smoke ciggarettes. I digress! Back on the subject, satire sci-fi is a genre that needs to be reinvigorated. The original Starship Troopers, which fortunately was not left off this list, is a classic of that sub-genre, but these days, there are surprisingly few quality sci films in general being made. A few years back, the serious and definitely not satiristic, yet very premonistic Children of Men was an amazing effort, and one of my favorite filims. But not much since then. The reinvigoration of the predator fanchise was not as good as it could have been, and terminator wasn't either. I just saw the Guy Pierce Space Prison film in the theatre, suprise, (no surprise i already forgot the name), and it was done terribly. I am not as enthused about Promethius as one would hope. If ridley Scott does have any sense about him, he will make it different than anything else, and hopefully add some real humor, not the dumb family kind that serious filmgoers are disgusted by. Maybe he could learn a few lessons from todays comedy makers, like Judd Apatow and the like, whose senses of humour are properly attuned. And listmakers, learn your s**t. Peace.
