      Look i listen to all types of music, Screamo is not depressing s*** maybe a couple of songs, that is just your opinion, I listen to rap i love lil wayne and eminem, 2 of my favorite singers, i listen to christian i love casting crowns..I listen to pop alternative, avril lavigne, all time low, nevershout never. What you say is depressing is your opinion.... alot of emo songs is about love, so is country , rap and pop, just another way to sing it, If you dont like screamo why are you on this page of ALL screamo music?

Yeah there's swearing in screamo but they don't listen to it because it not 'popular'. And not ALL emos cut themselves it's basically a stereotypical.     I love screamo music now and again and I wear tracksuits and s**t.. I'm not emo/goth or anything like that and you certainly don't have to be depressed to listen to screamo.. If you listen to some of the lyrics or get them up on a lyrics website you'll also see that they aren't always about death/cutting yourself/whatever else. Don't judge until you've listened to the music properly.. :)
