    Open ending, there are more Audrey II's in the world and we are not getting the aftermath of people going nuts and making "sacrifices" to the plants all over, there's a nice and dark invasion story out there for the smart writers...

    An ending more open than may suspect, anything could have happen, after credits. A direct follow up to the surviving characters would be extremely nice, in my opinion, by the same team.

      well, I thought it was pretty bad... and well closed, itself... some other Will Ferrell films are better "meat" for a sequel, as Blades of Glory, Semi-Pro or Talladega Nights... that's my opinion. I am only posting the ones that really make me wonder if there's not a really good - and new - story after, rather than a simply and boring repetition of the first film, wich Step Brothers probably would be... I prefer in thinking in some that would actually continue making the characters and situations grow, maybe in different ways.

        It was a direct to DVD release, I never saw it, but it looked like they completely abandoned everything from the first script.
