Doctor Hall: "Skyfall... Skyfall..."

A quick game of word association between Doctor Hall and James Bond soon turns into a mission assignment meeting when Bond is tasked with returning to his childhood home of Skyfall, Scotland.

Everyone Needs a Hobbyv
James Bond: "Everybody needs a hobby."
Silva: "So what's yours?"
James Bond: "Resurrection"
Possibly having more lives than your average nine-life cat, James Bond returns from being presumed dead when the duty calls. For him, resurrection is not a miracle, but rather a hobby.

Take The Shotv
Eve Moneypenny: "I may have a shot. It's not clean, repeat, I do not have a clean shot. There's a tunnel ahead. I'm going to lose them."
M: "Can you get into a better position?"
Eve Moneypenny: "Negative, there's no time."
M: "Take the shot. I said take the shot."
Eve Moneypenny: "I can't, I may hit Bond."
M: "Take the bloody shot."
With only a few seconds before her window to shoot expires, Eve Moneypenny has her fears that she might accidentally hit James Bond rather than French mercenary Patrice as they wrestle atop a moving train. Her instincts are right and Moneypenny does in fact shoot James Bond, forcing him to fall deep into the water below.

He Knows Usv
M: "We're under attack. Whoever did this, he knows us. He's one of us."
M recognizes that this attack is perhaps too good, that the perpetrator must be someone with intimate knowledge of their program, someone from the inside or perhaps someone formerly a member.

Somewhere in the South China Seav
Gareth Mallory: "Do you have any word on Bond?"
M: "He's somewhere in the South China Sea."
Gareth Mallory: "That's it?"
M: "Well when you've worked with Bond as long as I have you realize that somewhere in the South China Sea is precise intelligence."
To most, a location of "somewhere in the South China Sea" would be pretty broad but for M, who is used to dealing with James Bond, that's considered precise intelligence.

Lost The Drivev
Gareth Mallory: "Three months ago you lost the drive containing the identity of every agent embedded in terrorist organizations across the globe."
Of all of the pieces of data that shouldn't be lost, one containing information on undercover agents working for terrorists is up there on the list of things that should not be lost. M knows this and pays the price for the fault.

Your New Quartermasterv
Q: "It always makes me feel a little melancholy, a grand old war ship being ignominiously hauled away for scrap. The inevitability of time, don't you think? What do you see?"
James Bond: "A bloody big ship, excuse me"
Q: "007, I'm your new quartermaster."
James Bond: "You must be joking."
Q: "Why, because I'm not wearing a lab coat?"
James Bond: "Because you still have spots."
Q: "My complexion is hardly relevant."
James Bond: "Your competence is."
Q: "Age is no guarantee of efficiency."
James Bond: "And youth is no guarantee of innovation."
Q: "I'll hazard I can do more damage on my laptop sitting in my pajamas before my first cup of earl grey before you can do in a year in the field."
James Bond: "Oh, so why do you need me?"
Q: "Every now and then a trigger has to be pulled."
James Bond: "Or not pulled, it's hard to know which in your pajamas, Q."
At first, the introduction of James Bond to Q, the new quartermaster, comes with a bit of static, mainly as Bond sees Q as too young and inexperienced for that position but soon they come to an understanding.

Sévérine: "How much do you know about fear?"
James Bond: "All there is"
Sévérine: "Not like this, not like him"
James Bond thinks he knows all there is to know about fear but Sévérine informs him that his understanding of the emotion is nothing close to that Silva has.
