    Keep in mind that this list is based on "Overall" mpg as listed by Consumer Reports. Several of you are siting "Highway" mpg. ;)

    27 is an understatement. I drive mine like I stole it and still have a combined 28.9mpg over the last two years.

    Gets 34mpg doing 78 on the interstate - BUY ONE!

    The new V-6 Mustang gets 29 MPG and is more sporty then any of these cars. Disappointing list.

      I used to smoke v-6 mustangs with my civic si in the straight line, and the mustang can't even come close in the twistys! Mustang! Pffft those cars and corvettes are junk compared to te japanese and european offerings, and it doesn't come close in fuel efficiency. Enjoy your mustang mullet and small penis! Bazinga!
