A childhood favorite...much in the way of 'Enchanted' and 'Pagemaster', this movie is half live-action and half cartoon. And it's got Angela Lansbury in it. Classic.

Okay, this movie is just fantastic. Lovely blending of comedy, action and fantasy. If you like Adam Sandler at all, you will love this. Also, the kids in it are wicked cute. And the guinea pig, oh my god, the guinea pig...

I consider this one of Michael Keaton's best roles. And the young Winona Ryder plays a great Lydia. The cast alone is worth seeing this one for. :)

Being one of the millions of Johnny fanatics, I ate this up. Don't get me wrong, the other one is still a classic, but this one was closer to the book (yeah, I'm one of THOSE people).

Did not read the book, but was pleasantly surprised at being pulled into this movie. Once I was interested, I HAD to find out what happened next...

Haven't seen this movie in a LONG time. All I really remember was that the characters have a device that stops time much like Xavier in the mall scene in X-Men 3. It was pretty neat.

Based on the book series by Christopher Paolini. This is one of the ones that if you've read the book, you'll hate it, but if not, it's great! Did have a good cast.

I should think this entire series fits neatly into this category....witches, wizards. goblins, dragons, basilisks, etc...

YAY! "You remind me of the babe." "What babe?" "The babe with the power." "What power?" "The power of voodoo." "Who do?" "You do." "Do what?" "Remind me of the babe."

We need The Goonies and Monster Squad on here!

We should rank these from best to worst, though, cause seeing Zathura next to the Wizard of Oz makes me want to cringe/cry/kill :-)

I've got Monster Squad on there already...and I'd TOTALLY put the Goonies on there, except nothing supernatural ever happens to them...just weird stuff. Excellent movie, though! :)

Otherwise, I just put them alphabetically...
