Feed Ducks

This is perhaps the simplest one on the list. Go to a 99cent store with your date and both of you pick out a different kind of bread. Mix it up get a French Baguette or some Hawaiian rolls, Rye or Sourdough. Both pick something different the ducks don't care.

This will give you an activity to do while you get to talk and just relax with your date. Take your time make the bread last the ducks have no where to go and neither do you.

Play a Sport or Game

This idea could back fire depending on how competitive you or your date can be. The point isn't to beat your date its just to interact and do something active instead of watching a movie or eating.

A simple hike it doesn't have to strenuous and you don't have to make it a picnic just go out and appreciate the beautiful scenery nature has to offer.

Night at the Beach

The beach is definitely cliche. But take the sun out of the equation and your in a whole other world. It doesn't have to be bright and sunny to have a great time at the beach. Late at night is a perfect time for a beach run and even better when it starts to rain.

Cook Off

Now this is where a little competition can be fun and rewarding. You both go to the grocery store together and purchase what ever items you two will need for two separate dishes. The idea is you both cook a meal for the other person and just to make it interesting compete on which dish is better. But that isn't really the idea.

The whole point is to get you both working in the kitchen with each other even though you are both working against each other.

Most of the fighting happens in the kitchen anyway we might as well get a meal out of it.

Stand Up Comedy Show

Seeing a live comedy show blows seeing the latest block buster movie out of the park. Whether it's an amateur show or a professional you are in for some good laughs and a good time.

Random Adventure

This date idea takes a lot of skill to pull off. Because if this is a genuine RANDOM adventure then you shouldn't have any plans either. This can turn up the pressure but here is the idea...

You pick up your date and see what your date wants to do most of the time they will be caught off guard because you are suppose to have the plans your the date your the one picking them up. So chances are they'll say they don't care or they don't have any plans something to that effect.

This is when your wit is tested you start driving and come up with something on the way, maybe dinner, maybe you go to a museum, maybe you do some cliche date thing what ever you do you don't do it for too long. And you hop into the next random adventure.

If you do this right you will have turned one date into 3-5 great dates all in one night.

Zoo

The Zoo can be potentially a boring date. Most of the time the animals aren't doing much. But the atmosphere of being with all of the exotic animals is the perfect setting for date as long as you stay interesting and keep the date alive the animals could all be asleep.

NOTE: This date may end up a little pricey depending on how much you want to do once your there.

Cereal Party

This is one of my favorites and is actually very personal. My ex and I used to do this a lot and it was some of the best times I had with her.

First you go somewhere to rent a few movies. Go to a movie rental place and look around choosing a few different movies you both agree on should be a good experience for both you. And it is a little more old school now a days with internet and netflix and what not. So it has more charm than surfin the internet for a movie.

Second you go to the grocery store together. You pick out a box of cereal each preferably two different boxes. Then you pick up two gallons of milk again one each, of what ever milk you prefer.

Then go back to one of your places and find the biggest bowls you can and poor yourselves a box of cereal each and just chill out and enjoy the marathon.

See a Play

This is my other favorite idea on the list. Go see a play, like the comedy show this blows seeing a movie out of the water. But unlike the comedy show this has a lot more of a romantic connotation to it. And you don't have to see some b***h musical. You don't even need to see an expensive play. Even amateur plays can be fun.

My recommendation see a comedic play so you can both actually enjoy it. Try to see it opening night. Opening night has more of a chance to have some mistakes and mistakes are part of what makes a play more charming and because it is a comedic play a mistake usually just adds to the fun of it all.

And if you live in LA or around LA try to see it at the Kodak theater your date will feel like a movie star.
