    Yes, these men were poor leaders, but there were issues other than slavery that affected the country. "One issue" people, those so blinded by their cause, are a disservice to the public by leading others to ignore other issues.

      With Grant, I agree that he had integrity, but the main factor in my ranking was political skill.
