Oh how the mighty have fallen. Here's a list of the world's biggest rock stars falling. These stage accidents range from Madonna falling to Bono's stage fall, to Taylor Swift, Joaquin Phoenix, Britney Spears and even the most recent fall from Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler (August of 2010).

Pearl Jam actually still rocks pretty hard, but this clip is an amazing example of how a rock star can go from the coolest guy in the room, to someone who has some recovery work to do in a matter of Olympic SECONDS.

He takes a spill while running across a stage (which we should all know NEVER to do by now), and that's kinda bad enough (at least he fall in time with the music?)

He then tries to get back up gracefully, only to drop the microphone in the process. Luckily, the sadistic bitched who put this clip together knew exactly what we were looking for and included a slow-mo moment as Eddie drops the mic.

This happened during Pearl Jam's 2006 European tour, which happened during THE FALL (see what we did there?)

    Axl Rose Falls Onstage

Mr Axl Rose was singing Knockin' On Heaven's Door in Columbia, in March of 2010 and then almost actually did so himself when he pulled the worst mistake that someone in his position (someone whose prime involved looking and sounding like he was on 8 different hallucinogens because he WAS on 8 different hallucinogens) possibly could've pulled: he moved slightly.

This lead, obviously, to his falling ass-first onto the stage while trying to execute an acrobatic feat for him: jogging lightly.

In June of 2009, Dizzee Rascal, whose name I can't even recognize, was starting out a show at UKC (University of Kent), when he started thrusting forward with his crotch.

His crotch then grew a mind of its own and propelled him forward with the force of a thousand thrusts, making him do a swan dive onto the floor, face-first, stopping the music altogether and astonishing on-lookers, as well as you. The camera-man, ever the professional, filmed the whole thing instead of helping.

If you think about it, though, he really brought it on himself because if he would've been more famous, there would have actually been fans in the crowd to catch him.

Robbie Williams is a lame singer and we Americans really could give two turds about him, but this is funny.

Go to 00:05 for the lead-up to the fall.

At a 1996 concert in Leeds, England, he's in the middle of butchering a Lou Reed song when he decides to do a jig.

Not-surprisingly, he ends up staying on the ground and making a deal of it because his huge, thick, and throbbing ego just got hit in the nuts by his own lame attempt at dancing while jazz-singing over a classic.

As Rihanna began performing "Te Amo" (5/10/2010) at a concert in the UK (The last girl on Earth tour), she lost her balance causing her to slip up and fall before even being able to mutter a line from the song.

It happens pretty quickly in this video and isn't that remarkable, but is definitely among the falls that happen because theatrically-big high-heels never did any favors for ANYONE's equilibrium.

Luckily she only came out with a few bruises, so at the very worst it was like going out on a nice, calm date with her ex, Chris Brown.

She took it really well and continued the concert as if nothing had happened, even though she took a bit of a beating; cause if there's one thing we know about Rihanna, it's that she can really take a beating.

Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum fell off the stage on MTV when Clinton was inaugurated in '93. It was during the intro of Black Gold or Runaway train.

No Iron Maiden? They've had plenty of funny spills...especially the one at 2007 Download festival when Bruce fell. That's most funny than half of these...
