The best Occupy Wall Street signs are highly effective at getting a strong message across, and they're memorable. Sure, a lot of protesters in NYC are holding pretty straightforward signs with slogans like "Protesters Have Rights, Defend Occupy Wall Street," but they tend to blend in during the large marches. Occupy Wall Street protest signs that stand out take things a bit further - they are clever, unique and definitely worth a look. See one you love? Vote it up!

This list features Occupy Wall Street sign photos that I think demonstrate some of the best of the best. Whether you're looking for an Occupy Wall Street sign idea for your own area march or just trying to keep track of the whole situation, enjoy these pics of great signs from the 99% and get inspired! Or mad. Or whatever.

Some of the Occupy Wall Street signs are funny, catchy and light, while others are far more serious, but they all have one thing in common: They are designed to get a message across. People who are out protesting with Occupy are fed up with the 1 percent and they're expressing their frustration and anger by joining the movement to make changes. As you'll see from these signs, these are ordinary Americans: librarians, students and even some Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans. And as with any major protest movement, the signs are one of the many ways the marchers are getting their point across.

"I won't believe corporations are people until TEXAS executes one." That is PRIMO! In fact, I believe that should be the new definition of life...not a beating heart, not an active EEG, but "does Texas want to execute it?" If so, it's alive! Brava chica, that is one fine sign! I am going to shamelessly steal it (and your hair color) next time I attend a protest...in fact I may have shirts made, and I will do my best to give you credit, although I'm not sure if "lovely pink haired young woman in black hoodie with cardboard protest sign" is going to get me too far. Keep up the good work--you're a credit to our gender!
