The Creepiest Kids in Horror Movies

The creepiest kids in horror movies are those scary little brats that despite being young, scare the living crap out of adults. These scary kids from horror movies are both the reasons we watch some of the best horror movies of all time and why after we watch these movies we sleep with the lights on. Don't be deterred by their size, these kids are freakishly terrifying.

When you think about the creepiest kids in horror films, a few favorites instantly come to mind. Damien Thorn, the four-year-old Son of Satan from "The Omen," the scalpal-weilding Gage Creed from "Pet Sematary" and Samara Morgan, the seemingly nice girl who just happens to crawl out of your television into your room on "The Ring," all fit that bill but there are so many more where that came from.

Sometimes, these creepy horror movie kids are not scary enough alone and they have to come in pairs or other multiples. The Grady Twins from "The Shining," Cory and Carrie Dollanganger from "Flowers in the Attic" and the Midwich Cuckoos, complete with their terrifying red eyes, from "Village of the Damned" take scary horror movie child characters to another level.

Even some real-life kids, along with their horrifyingly true stories, have made their way into horror movies, as if fiction was not scary enough. Kevin Katchadourian from "We Need to Talk About Kevin" and even Regan MacNeil from "The Exorcist" were true stories that inspired horror movies reminding us that it's not just the creepy kids in these horror movies that we should worry about, creepy kids are in real life too, just waiting for the time to strike.
