The flat-out most awesome upcoming games

I bet you weren't expecting this! You were expecting some lame mainstream game like call of duty or uncharted, weren't you? Once again, you control a vastly overpowered mutant with shapeshifting powers who can kill and dismember foes with clawhands,super speed, a blade arm, insane parkour skills, and a slew of other abilities. The original prototype was met with very mixed results. Its intensely violent, fast paced and sometimes challenging combat was met with much acclaim. The confusing story, difficulty spikes and boring enviroments weren't so great. The refined story is actually something we can get into and makes actually want revenge against the man/monster/shapeshifter that killed our family.The graphics have received a major overhaul, the The entire playable world (set in new york city) has been split into three distinct zones to ensure variety, and it's now much brighter and colorful. Not much has been said about the difficulty, but so far it looks much better than its already very fun predecessor.

The original borderlands was awesome. it had an open world, huge arsenal, endless quests and tons of replay value. It had some problems that cam in the form of repetitive enemies and enviroment, and a dissapointing storyline. (plus the rocket launchers and vehcicles felt relatively weak). Every video Gearbox has shown has proved that every discernible problem so far. The vehicles are huge and powerful and are a force to be reckoned with. Enemies show creativity even more so than than in the first game ("level 30 badass midget psycho" was an actual game term) and they even react realisticly to being shot. the environments never feel dull and they're much brighter. The original characters form borderlands will return, but only as NPCs. this will lead much greater character development. The story is easier to understand this time and it's deeper too.And then there's the guns. Don't even get me started on the guns. It features an even bigger arsenal which is impressive, seeing as the first one had 17million-plus guns. if i talked only about the guns, It would take up a whole page. the original weapons system will be back but each gun manufacturer will have distinct feel. Weapons can now even further augmented through a new element called iridium. I would say more, but I'm in danger of boring you to death so I'll stop.

The next in a series of rpgs by bethesda strive to be the longest game ever. With 30+ hours of the main quest an inumerable number of side quests, and what looks like like the biggest world in a game ever to explore, It might just do that.There's so many good things to say that I can't possibly say it all in this article. For starters, there is a grand total of 10 playable races, although many of them are variations of humans and elves. but there are a couple of unique ones like the khajiit (essentially cat-people) and argonians (lizard people). As mentioned before, the world in skyrim is HUGE, with gazillions upon gazillions of things to do. Bethesda recently added dual-wielding, so you can now dual wield almost anything. (I bet you could even dual wield shields if you really wanted to!). I you dual wield a spell, you get an even more powerful version. If you ever played oblivion, you probably noticed how ugly people were. luckily, bethesda has put a lot of work into maker faces much more realistic. This is gonna be the best rpg of the year guaranteed.
