Disclaimers:
There were a number of mid-to-late-80s movies on the (excellent) master CrowdRanked list here that I did think were hilarious at the time, but since I've never seen them again, and my memory has faded a bit, I've left them off. I'm also fading memory-wise when it comes to Life of Brian and a few of the early Woody Allen films unfortunately. I would also like to add that although Dazed and Confused is definitely very high on my alltime films list, it's not just the humor that makes it so great, so it isn't #1 on the purely "funniest" list.
