    Baby Mice Wine

This traditional Chinese and Korean wine is considered to be a 'health tonic'. Although this list is in no particular order, I must say that this has to be the grossest thing that anybody can bear to swallow. When I hear the term 'mice' I think of a flea-infested dirty little rodent parading the piss-filled streets of New York City. I'm sorry, but that's where they should be, out in the streets not in my wine.

    Innards

Many people don't enjoy eating all parts of an animal, including gizzards, hearts, and intestines, while others simply don’t like to waste anything. From chicken liver to pig intestines, you can be sure to find a way to make this edible. There are many ways to cook innards. For example, rabbit liver is sometimes used to thicken certain rich meaty sauces for pasta. If you didn’t know beforehand that pasta sauces are made of liver from our furry little friends, then you have now been warned. Now, chicken giblets have a variety of uses, while the liver can be eaten on its own. Ever wonder why, no matter how much oregano, parsley, and other seasoning you put in it, your soup still doesn't taste like your mothers? When asked how she got her soup to taste so flavorful, you regretfully listen as she unveils her secret ingredients, “I put chicken neck, gizzards and heart in your soup, that’s where the real flavor comes from.” While you’re standing over your mother’s body wondering how she fell to the ground with a shiner on her cheek, you realize that you took it too far when you punched her in the face. I mean, really, it’s just food. So, the next time you’re back home for some comfort food, make sure that your mom is well aware of what could potentially happen if she sneaks a little bit of chicken guts in your soup.

    Slimy Worms

Studies have found that eating dirt worms make us healthy. When organisms from bacteria, viruses and worms enter the body, the immune system becomes stronger. Studies imply that eating worms redirects a skewed immune system, curing people with autoimmune disorders, allergies, and asthma. Kids, don't be alarmed to find something squiggling in your sandwich during lunch. It's just mother's way of making sure you're eating healthy.

    A Whole Sheep’s Head

Hmmm... I really don't like my food staring right back at me. It makes me feel kind of guilty... alright, I'll eat it's eyes first.
  5. 5

    Mongolian Boodog

Before this odd looking thing was artistically molded into an edible table, it stood as an actual animal. Now, it's been skinned, stuffed with hot stones, torched, and ready to eat.

The Most Disgusting Cheese In The World

Casu Marzu is a type of cheese that has to be left in the sun until it becomes rotten and filled with maggots. The process of producing this cheese is considered a process of finely metered fermentation. However, this maggot-infested cheese is so gross and unsanitary that it will not be found in any parts of America.

    Jellied Moose Nose

The jellied part sounds pleasantly delicious since jelly would go real well on top of lightly toasted sourdough bread. However, in the case of preparing a Moose’s Nose, the jelly tastes and looks nothing like the type of jelly that we typically use on our buns. The term 'jellied' is actually how the moose is prepared. Preparing the moose, sounds as cruel as forcing someone to actually eat this thing. I'm not sure how appetizing a "nose" can be, but I prefer my dish without boogers.

    Dogs and Cats

In many parts of the world, such as China, you will find dogs and cats displayed in a restaurant for the world to see and I’m not talking about the pet-store-type-of-display. These pets are skinned and showcased behind a glass for people to choose for dinner. Sadly, this type of food is considered to be a delicacy in certain foreign countries.I enjoy taking care of my pets. And that’s exactly what they should be: pets! I don’t know about you guys, but if I saw my little Rover skinned and displayed for the world to eat, I would go ballistic.

    Foul Smelling Thorny Fruit

Ah, durian. Some people absolutely love it, and others can't stand being near it. The outside is thorny, while the inside has a pudding-like consistency. You will find this fruit available in most parts of Southeast Asia. Often times, during durian season, you will see many people scouring over the freezer in an Asian Supermarket looking for the perfect-sized durian to take home and share with the family. While some people enjoy the smell and taste of the fruit, others find it to be quite offensive. Boys, please reconsider your mother’s durian shake before heading out on a hot date, you wouldn't want her to remember you as the boy who reeked of putrid onion breath.

    A Soft Boiled Fetal Duck

This is called a Balut. It is a fertilized duck egg with an almost developed embryo in it. So how would someone eat this thing? Well, it's as simple as boiling an egg. In fact, that's exactly what you do: boil, peel, dip it in your choice of salt or vinegar, and then EAT IT. However, don't be fooled by how it looks after you peel it; break it in half and you'll see an almost developed little duck, with feathers and a beak. Can you imagine taking a bite of this egg and pulling out Daffy's head from your mouth? Gross!

So other animals are fine to eat but some aren't...why? Just because we chose some to domesticate and some not to...to me, as a vegetarian (and dog owner) I find this view very hypocritical. You either allow all animals to be eaten, or no animals to be eaten, no special treatment.

People who could eat our cute furry little friends should be hanged and displayed themeselves. It's not about special treatment it's about what's sensible....
