Lynda Carter

Lynda Carter is the original Wonder Woman from the original Wonder Woman television series. She's actually aged very well and will most likely have some campy cameos in the upcoming Wonder Woman show, but you can't have this list without paying homage to the woman who made Wonder Woman not only human, but insanely hot for anyone who grew up in the 80s or before.

Erica Durance

During an episode of the show Smallville, Erica Durance (playing Lois Lane) gets dolled up in an "Amazonian Princess" costume to try and get a story at a comic book convention. As the most recent depiction of a Wonder Woman costume on a DC comics based show, this could well be the model for the new show's costume.

Then she went and got dolled up as Wonder Woman again in an episode of Harry's Law:

Adrianne Palicki

Palicki was selected to play Wonder Woman in David E. Kelley's attempt to bring the Amazon Princess to television screens. The show didn't get picked up, but it definitely pushed Palicki into the limelight.

Tiffany Fallon

Tiffany Fallon got dolled up as Wonder Woman for the cover of Playboy, although technically it's not a costume. The Wonder Woman costume was painted on to her, but if you're in America, we're a country where we can't show real nipples, but we can always paint a naked chick a different color, which then allows them to walk around in public and grace newsstands across the nation.

Geri Halliwell

Ginger Spice donned the costume for a very brief scene in the Spice Girls movie Spice World and ever since then, I have never forgotten her hotness. Ever. And neither should you.

If you never had the opportunity to check out the OC, or just watched it because a girl you liked was into it and missed this scene, then I'm terribly, terribly sorry -- hey and this thing was arguably the best teen melodrama since 90210 -- keep in mind this was before high school kids were seen as primarily rich New York royalty or superstars with perfect singing voices and over 10 years of dance talent under their belts.

Rachel Bilson played Summer, the life long obsession of Seth Cohen -- a comic book geek that looked like a heart throb yet in this universe was sort of just ""okay"" looking for some reason. Seth's geekiness and love of comics on the show was infectious, leading to the scene to the left, where Summer tries to win him over by dressing as Wonder Woman.

This scene cemented the tone of the show for the rest of it's run ""The Geek gets the Girl."" hell yes.

As part of a parody of the Spider-man movie, during her hosting gig for the MTV movie awards, Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, donned the crown and rocked out as Wonder Woman for bit.

Emily Deschanel plays Temperance Brennan on the Fox show Bones, which unfortunately isn't about people exchanging money "in the hood." Brennan is considered a bit of a wunderkind in that she is a brilliant criminologist, scientist, best selling author and she knows how to handle herself in a fight. So, naturally, when it comes time to pick a costume for a Halloween party, Temperance chooses Wonder Woman -- because she's a Deschanel. And Deschanels know how to rock it.

She also pulls a dorky little spin move at the end there that really shows off the fact that she's Zooey Deschanel's sister when she's not playing an uptight chick on TV.

This is probably the hottest picture of her ever taken -- which kinda shows how few people actually photograph this awesome woman.

The nerds on The Big Bang Theory call in the big guns to win a costume contest. Kaley Cuocu dons the costume and at first refuses to wear the wig as you can see in the scene to the left, but it really, really doesn't matter because they gave her the best possible top for her body type.

God bless this show for constantly putting her into s**tty positions where nerds awkwardly interact with her in a way slightly worse than I do with women in real life.

If you've ever seen Confessions of a Superhero (available at your local video store if it hasn't gone out of business yet,) then you've already fallen in love with the severely underrated hottie which is Jennifer Wenger. She's the girl who used to dress like Wonder Woman for a LIVING, making money off of tourists in Hollywood by taking pictures with them.

At this point, I would pay up to $10 for a picture with her, trying my hardest to fight the urge to break my hover-hands.

She's actually gone on to have a pretty successful character actress career so far by hitting such shows as True Blood, Party Down and Californication -- all in which she goes topless (which makes it that much more awesome.)

She seems to be pretty picky about her choices thus far, but will most likely go far because she's a charming, awesome woman with some talent that we're yet to see.
