The Most Nostalgia-Inducing '80s Toys

Everything started in the 1980s. As you know, most toys, movies and TV you see being rebooted in pop culture today originally came from the '80s. Toys were what captured the imaginations of kids in that time before home video game systems were ubiquitous, before the internet and back when people still had to "tune in" to be able to see the TV shows they loved. Saturday morning cartoons dictated what people played with. The 1980s were the golden age of toys.

He-Man, Cabbage Patch Kids, Teddy Ruxpin, G.I. Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (back when they were still teenaged and mutants), Transformers and more. These are the best toys of the '80s. Upvote the ones you had, downvote the ones you either wanted and didn't get or just the ones you plain old hated. Add any you can think of that are missing and have fun going through what you can find in a lot of flee markets, swap meets and yard sales that force you to make the decision of "do I want this or will it become junk?" Enjoy ranking the greatest vehicles and toys from the 1980s. Toys have gotten a lot worse. This was the golden age of toys.

    Hands down the Star Wars Trilogy at this time was the 80's Crusher. The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars Episode V continuation of George Lucas's Epic Space Odyssey. From the Mysterious Bounty Hunter Boba Fett's 1st Introduction to the Empire's herd of AT-AT's attacking the Rebel Base on Hoth. Hands Down was my favorite time in the 80's. Every Christmas my Brother and I looking forward to what Star Wars toys would make an appearance under the Christmas Tree. The 80's ROCKED! ROCK ON!

      Those were the top toy sellers in the day...But did anyone notice the kid in the first transformers toy looks like all the rest but with a different dye job minus the one token black kid. 5 stars on this article it left me feeling older but happier
